The Texans Trick Play Was Cold As Hell

If it weren't for the Dolphins punter to kicker touchdown pass earlier today this would have been the play of the day. This was beyond silly. Double reverse, wide receiver pitch to the QB for six. Unlike the Dolphins, part of me wonders why the Texans even broke this out in a game that was already over. Sure the Patriots came back to make it close at the end but the Texans could have scored any other way here as they had the rest of the game. Having this play tucked in your back pocket a month from now feels more advantageous than breaking it out tonight just to pour it on. But regardless of all that: it was cool as hell. And ultimately that's all that really matters.
